Church Volunteer Opportunities

You Can Play a Part in God's Work Here

Since its founding nearly 300 years ago theBaptist Church in the Great Valley has depended 100% upon the voluntary contributions and service of its members and friends.  To continue this long tradition of God's work in this community, your ideas and support are meaningful and essential.  Here's how you can help:

Ken with FlowersAttend!  BCGV offers a traditional worship service at 10:30 a.m. every Sunday in our historic Meeting House, plus a variety of special purpose programs during the week.

Spread the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to your friends and neighbors.

Volunteer your time, the most precious resource of all, and be a good steward of your talents and abilities.  Sing in the Choir or serve in one or more mission opportunities sponsored by BCGV.  If you are retired or have extra time, take on a special project like painting a church building or trimming shrubs in the Cemetery.  See the Board of Mission tab for specific programs that need your help, or find a project that needs doing. The potential is endless.

Support BCGV's annual pledge campaign conducted by the Board of Trustees to underwrite the church's budget for the coming year.  Contact any Trustee or church officer for details.

Plan a Living Gift or a Bequest.  The BCGV Endowment Fund receives Living Gifts and Bequests from members and friends, and is administered by the Board of Trustees.  The Fund provides significant ongoing annual support to the program of the Church.  Contact any Trustee for details.

Provide a gift to BCGV in memory of someone who has significantly affected your life through the Deacons' Memorial Fund, dedicated to capital improvement of the Meeting House.  Contact any Deacon for details.
