Backpack Drive Mission

Now that school is out and summer is here, it is time to think about our mission to support the children at Parx Racetrack. Our congregation has supported these students with outstanding enthusiasm.

Reverend Rick Bunker has provided a list of supplies the children will need to begin their school year this August. Since August is just around the corner, this is the perfect time to get started on our mission. The easiest way to help is through our registry on Amazon. Items will be delivered to the church office.

If you wish to shop locally, here is the list of supplies:

Remember, too, $25 gift cards from Walmart, Target, Amazon or Staples are always a big hit! We put one inside each backpack to cover some of the other incidental costs of back-to-school.

The deadline is mid-August when we pack and deliver the backpacks.
